Born in 1964 in Ellington, Ct, we moved to a farm in Hopewell, NJ when I was 4yrs old. The wide open spaces, barns, farm animals, gardens and crops that we lived with have greatly influenced my work as a painter. I like to take my paintings to a quieter place that reflect a more organic aesthetic, evoking a sense of peace. My parents were both highly intelligent, creative and motivated people. If they decided they were going to do something, they figured out a way to do it. This ingenuity lives on in their children. As a little girl I loved to design and make Barbie clothing and furniture.
